How to Refer a Client

Refer with Confidence, Ensure the Best Care for Your Clients

At Khiron Clinics, we are dedicated to making access to therapy as simple as possible.

There are several ways to make a referral, with all referrals being handled with care by our intake director Angela Bent.

"The team at Khiron have been excellent in the quality of their working together with us to provide a high-quality service to [people], who have very complex needs. This has involved developing and maintaining good team communication between our clinical teams, formulating care plans together with very good involvement of the person themselves, and problem-solving when faced with challenging situations."

When to Refer a Client

How You Can Help Clients In Crisis

Sometimes during treatment or evaluation with patients, it may become clear that they require a higher level of need than what outpatient care can provide. Perhaps your client presents with an array of comorbid and dual-diagnosis symptoms which are difficult to separate and identify without closer observation and examination.

Finding a residential clinic you can trust and that can provide the specialist care your client needs can be challenging.

We work with psychiatrists, GPs and therapists to support their practices, not to replace them, by offering an alternative to psychiatric hospital care to individuals around the world.

It’s important to emphasise that we always encourage patients and clients to stay with their trusted medical and therapeutic connections if they prefer.

We’ll make sure to keep referrers updated on their progress and help coordinate their follow-up care.

To help those living outside the UK access our care, we even pay for and arrange transport to help ease the worries of traveling abroad for treatment.

Clinical Assessments

Every Client Who Starts Residential or Outpatient Treatment at Khiron Clinics Will First Have an Assessment

Every client who starts residential or outpatient treatment at Khiron Clinics will first have an assessment.

Assessments are an opportunity for the client to meet with a member of our senior clinical team, share their story, understand more about the treatment Khiron Clinics delivers and get insights into the root causes of their issues.

Following the client’s in-person or online assessment, they will receive a comprehensive written report detailing the information they have provided as well as a clinical formulation and clinical recommendation, allowing the client to review the information at their own pace with family, loved ones, or current clinical team, so that they can make the best informed decision for their needs.
